Procurement & aggregation

We buy from our members ourselves

Nobody sends a truck for four quintals. Thousands of small farmers, together, can offer the lot, quality and invoice a large buyer needs. Aggregation is turning many small lots into one large one.

How procurement works

  • We announce the rate and dates on the noticeboard, at village meetings, and on WhatsApp before procurement opens.
  • Bring your produce to the collection point.
  • Weighing and grading happen in front of you. You see the reading and get a slip.
  • Payment goes into the member’s own bank account.
  • We aggregate, store and sell in volume; what the company earns returns to members.

Reducing what gets wasted

Damp, pests, poor drying and bad storage can keep crop from reaching a buyer in good condition. Proper handling, drying and storage keep more of the crop and more of its value with the farmer.

Weight and rate

The scale reading is visible to the person whose crop is on it. The announced rate is the same for every member that day. If you think a weighment is wrong, ask for a re-weigh. Nobody here will mind.
