Vision, mission & commitment
What we are trying to do
Together, we aim to transform farming from individual effort into a stronger, more profitable and sustainable collective enterprise.
Our vision
To build a strong, self-reliant, and sustainable farming community where women farmers are economically empowered, agricultural enterprises are profitable, and farmers achieve better livelihoods through collective growth, innovation, and fair market access.
Our mission
To empower member farmers by providing quality agricultural inputs at affordable prices, strengthening market linkages, facilitating collective procurement and value addition, promoting sustainable and modern farming practices, and creating opportunities that enhance productivity, income, and economic independence.
Our commitment
- Improve agricultural productivity and crop quality.
- Reduce input costs through collective purchasing.
- Provide better and reliable market opportunities.
- Reduce post-harvest losses through aggregation, storage and proper handling.
- Promote value addition and sustainable agricultural practices.
- Strengthen women's participation in agricultural entrepreneurship.
- Increase farmers' income and contribute to sustainable rural development.
What that looks like in practice
We will not sell our members anything we would not use ourselves. Genuine seed, honest weight.
We will tell our members the rate before we ask for their crop. Never after.
We will publish what we earn and what we spend—to our members first, and to anyone else who asks.
We will keep the company in farmers’ hands. No proxy ownership, no silent partners.
Our values
- Owned, not served. Our members are shareholders, and this company works for them because they own it.
- Weight and rate, in the open. Our scale and prices are on the wall, in Hindi, in numbers a person can read.
- A woman's name on the papers. Every share certificate this company issues carries a woman's name.
- The long field. We would rather build a company that lasts thirty years than post one impressive season.
